Been lurking for a couple of weeks so time to say hello!
I've been snapping with a Poweshot S3 then a Powershot G12 for a few years but yesterday became the proud owner of an EOS 600D with 18-55mm and 55-250mm lenses.
Having read a few posts I'm not going to ask any questions yet - I've only read the manual once so far
Here is my first shot, taken of one of my cats in my bathroom in very low light - can't believe the amount of light in the pic and how well the IS lens works (I have a bit of a tremor!).
