Hello to everyone, Dave's the name. I'm from Durham originally but have lived in Argyll & Bute on the west coast of bonny Scotland for the last ten years. I have just decided to take up photography again after spending the last couple of years cameraless. I currently have a Canon 350D but am saving up for a medium format camera as my main interest is landscape and I like to take my time taking a photo. Probably go for a Bronica or Mamiya. I did have a Bronica GS1 but sold it instead of storing it safely for the day I took up photography again (the twonk that i am!!).:)

Where I live is a superb area for landscape and wildlife photography and if any one either lives near or is visiting I would be more than happy to spend a day out with them. If there are any arranged shoots in the Argyll area I would love to tag along if possible.

Hi Angie

thanks for the hello. You'll have plenty to point your camera at in Durham. Landscapes, wildelife, sports events and of course the amazing architecture. Although you should be used to all of these coming from yorkshire. If you get the chance visit high force, a great waterfall (highest in Britain I think).

my partner is from ferryhill, and we are planning a trip to high force,ive seen pics so im excited to go, we aint ventured far yet around yorkshire but we are aiming to get about more
