I'm shopping for a new DSLR, I had a Pentax K10D a few years back but, despite me having owned a plethora of Pentax SLRs with which I was very happy the digital one came nowhere near meeting my expectations so it was sold.
I had narrowed down my choices to either a d5100 or an EOS 600D but once I started doing a bit of research I wondered whether I'd be better with something like a 7d or a d300 or a d700 or other.
I like photographing wildlife and the countryside in the main and, if I want to take video I'll buy a video camera so that's not a major consideration for me with a stills camera.
So, that's why I'm here; to do further research, pick up advice and doubtless ask many questions.
