Hi
I've been signed up to this forum for a while now, so have finally decided to break my silence and introduce myself!
I'm 27 and have only been seriously into photography for about a year after getting tired of taking simple snapshots with my D40. I did consider taking a class but the internet has been a more-than-useful resource so far and since joining this forum (and lurking heavily) I've learned even more, so thanks!
My current passion is landscape photography but have recently been re-introduced to my flashgun after 2 years of inactivity after being captivated by various Strobist groups on flickr. I've even built a DIY lightbox, and am planning on contributing to a food blog a friend is in the process of setting up (cooking being my second passion!)
Anyway, enough of my rambling - I look forward to getting more involved in this forum now and hopefully being able to impart some of the valuable advice that I've learned to future new members, as well as learning much more!
Might as well include a link to my Flickr too: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ruineroflife/
Cheers
