I've been registered for a couple of days now and thought it was about time I said hi .

I'm totally new to photography (apart from the usual holiday pics here and there), and have found the help for beginners threads really useful. I've just bought my first SLR, so once the battery is charged I'll start practicing.

I hope to learn a lot along the way, and may even be brave enough to post some of my beginner shots later on
