Hi everyone my names Simon. Thought I'd do a brief intro (yea right) to say hello and give abit of background.
Well been interested in photography for a couple of years but tbh was just content with buying the odd magazine here and there. Then a few months back I thought I'd finally make the step of actually buying a camera. Always liked the nikon's so was going to go for a D5000 but then a friend on a car forum put his D50 up forsale at a price I just couldn't refuse lol. Not the newest I'll grant you but a good, very well priced starting point.
So the last few months I've mainly been gathering kit, bag tripod etc, and on the lookout for good landscapes.
Been having a good browse round and there are some cracking bits of info I've picked up already
