Hi, my names will, im 18 and from plymouth. thought i would sign up seeing as im starting to take photography more seriously and would like to learn a lot more! always loved looking at other peoples photography and thought i would try it myself. so 3 months ago for my 18th birthday i got myself a canon 400d dslr. I knew absolutely nothing about cameras especially slr's... but have been handy around photoshop for quite a while now..... anyway below are some of my favorite pics.... as you will probally tell im into my cars.... im pretty sure its not up to a lot of your standards but give me a chance.... only been using it for 3 months!!! only use manual mode as i want to learn about the camera and settings, not just point it and shoot!

lol cheers! what ones? any ideas on what sorta shots i should go out and get. a guy i know really wants some of his lovely scooby. so want to get some impressive shots... but only a rookie so need to read up before hand if anyone has any ideas???

I think the long exposure inside the car is an interesting idea.

And good luck with taking pics of your mates scooby. Not that I know much but I'd recommend getting him to drive past while you shoot, and choose a good background - you must have some great locations down there.

Nephew had a nice WRX - sold it a few weeks back before I could get any nice shots.......suspiciously shortly after I took possession of a Honda FD..... He's supposed to be giving it a tune up for me - haven't seen him for nearly a week!
The Hondas nice, but the Scooby would have left it for dead. ANY shots will be good (Something shiny, like the ones of the 'Pug'!)
