I've recently made the transition from a superzoom to my first dSLR and am loving it. I started off a year or two ago taking holiday snaps and landscapes on bike rides and walks but I'm becoming more interested in photography and have been trying all sorts of things just recently (I started a 281 project because there's not 365 days left this year!), basically whatever I can think up that I think might make an interesting picture. That also has the added bonus of motivating me to get my lazy arse out the door and do something interesting!
I'm signing up hoping to learn some tips and find inspiration. I could also do with a bit of help getting my head around some of the gear (lenses in particular seem rather complicated and I'm going to want one soon I think
