Been browsing for a week now and I thought it was time to join up :thumbs:

Just bought a Canon 40D Body from another forum and am in the process of acquiring a couple of lenses. As soon as I'm sorted I will be a bit more active in the sub forums ;)

Looking forward to the tips, tricks and the banter

have been looking all over the net for a couple of lenses, got my eye on the kit lens (18-55) and a 28-105 USM. Completely new to this DSLR stuff, but I'll tell you now, its addictive :eek: and thats just looking for gear.

If I just said Washington some might have thought of USA. :lol:

Technically Washington is in the borough of Sunderland, but that is down to Maggie abolishing the New Town :shrug:
