I am brand new to this site, after much research into which site to join this one seems to have the best advice and feedback.
I have always enjoyed point and shoot photography then about 3 years ago i got a job as a Crime Scene Investigator and therefore my first introduction into DSLR.
My training for my job has given me the basics (and everything relating to crime scene photography), but now i am interested in developing myself to cover more of the 'arty' side of things. Im not allowed to play with DOF, lighting, macro, etc in my work photography.
The only kit i have is what i have been issued with from work: Nikon D5000, Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5G, Metz 45 flashgun and a (i think) manfrotto 029 tripod?
It is going to get to a stage where i will need to buy my own kit as bringing work gear home every day off i get will become a bit of a pain, i will no doubt be asking fro advice on that when i can afford to get my own.
I have also just been introduced to photoshop CS2, so may need help with that to.
So thats a bit about me, hopefully i will speaking with some of you soon, when i get the courage to post some of my pics on here.
