I'm looking at a 105mm polariser to go with my new Lee Filters system.

I've read a lot about the Heliopen filter being just as good and a lot cheaper than the Lee landscape filter, what are people's thoughts on the Heliopen compared to the Lee version?

I've only used the Lee on! I love it! I have bought cheap before and ended up buying twice! Why not look for a second hand undamaged Lee one instead of a new cheap one

Might have to have a look at a used one. New they are £160 so not to bad considering what I've already spent on Lee filters. Is the landscaper filter a lot thinner than the standard filter, and how can you tell them apart?

No idea how to tell them apart, but from some info I found on the Lee's website the landscape one is thinner but also gives a slight effect to the photo, I think it's a slight warming up to it, but without checking I am not 100%.

If your not in a rush is it worth waiting for when the filters are on special offer somewhere? I think Wex and SRB photography had special offers on Lee stuff recently

I'm in no rush at the moment just started to convert over to the Lee system. will keep an eye out for any offers.

I have found that Dale photography seem to be the cheapest on the web at the moment.
