Lovely bright shot!'
Ain't nature wonderful?
@ShinySideUp - it is in fact a hazel! That IS a lot of catkins. My hazels have them but not in such numbers.
that tree is definitely full well spotted
@Peter123 - Thanks and my bad... it's a hazel, not beech - I had just been looking at cutting back a beech!Good light highlights these. The tree is certainly full of these.
Nice capture Helen. Are you sure it is a beech tree?
I really like this, it has an almost abstract feel to it and the light is lovely. My bees would be all over that collecting pollen![]()
Fab spring catkin shot Helen![]()
Wow, that is loaded, lovely light![]()

That's a lovely shot. Great light.
That's a cracking shot Helen, lovely moody sky sets it off beautifully.
Trees sit very nicely against the sky. I like the composition too.
Very pleasing to look at, beautiful light for foreground and trees and ominous looking skies behind.
Reminds me that I should maybe leave the house for some of my 52 shots.
Thats another great landscape shot from you Helen. Colours are fab against the grey sky!
That light! Works well Helen![]()
I really like that, the colour of the sky contrasts lovely with the lower green. Well spotted.
Absolutely. What they all said.![]()
Beautiful image Helen. Love how you've cropped it.
@nog Not picky.. I totally agreeReally nice picture, the light and the crop make it along with the contrast between the field and the trees/sky. Being really picky, a tree on the left has been cut off- said I was being re
ally picky![]()
Lovely light and colours setting off the trees beautifully.
Very nice, great light and mood in that image. Well done for spotting it
Aww, thank you all for the lovely comments. This one was definitely all about the light which I seem to spend a lot of time chasing!Another excellent themed image Helen.
Great light.

Looks very French. Works well with the dark sky.Luckily had my camera in the car on a moody day. I often admire this line of trees - there is a repeating pattern to the species but then each is individual.

A different and good idea for tunnels.
Subtle mono conversion works well.
Interesting take on the theme and graet processing, I can feel the grit between my toes.

Thanks for dropping by and for the kind comments. The lens is with Canon - waiting to hear back with trepidation... and a big wallet I would imagine!Nice shot and an interesting alternate interpretation of tunnels Helen.
Hope your lens is is salvageable!
