This is actually quite a safe procedure, as quite a number of people did this when the 5D originally came out, so they could use Lieca R, CZ and other exotic glass with it.

Ofcourse you can get someone to convert autofocus contax lenses to EF mount too (but pretty expensive).

Its a procedure so they can use Contax 45mm 2.8 Tessar lens :)

Seems I jammed it on a little hard and some bits appear to have bent (rubber 'safety' hammer indeed - PAH)

and that mirror thingy has fallen out too - anyway, how can anyone be so vein I ask myself???

Who really needs a mirror to look at yourself when out & about with a camera!!! Better off on the floor methinks - mirrors in cameras - whatever next

Not sure I'd ever try it with the d200 but I like all this DIY camera modification stuff, like retrofitting IR filters into D70's.
