Heavy duty Mini-tripod & Tripod C-Clamp?

Is there any heavy duty Tripod clamps that you can fix to railings, bikes etc, also trying to find a heavy duty tabletop/mini tripod.

Looking to find them without a ball head with a straight tripod thread so a strong tripod head can be used, most appear to come with weak ballheads that will creak over with a DSLR

Make one yourself? A normal G-clamp with a short length of 1/4 UNC studding welded onto it should do the trick.

Or one of these, although you'll need a suitable tripod to borrow the column from.

Try a GorillaPod Focus - http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=115356 - seriously heavy duty. Use as is, or with your own head.
