Thanks for that Jim, never done any slide film before so worth a punt I think.

^ Sensia is reputably quite a muted film (from most examples I've seen), so I'd suggest that the picture was more the work of the polarising filter than the film itself. The colours are more likely to be like your picture 'Bretton Park Gate'. It's process paid, so do you just get the processed negatives back (i.e. no prints/CD?) or are they mounted in slides?

Sent some in a few weeks back.

Turn around time is about 3 weeks, but they come back nice & clean. They had some Sensia 100 too a few weeks back at a similar price, but that seems to be all gone.

It's probably a good way to dip your toes in to slide film, and not too expensive to use as test rolls (if you're patient)

I wouldn't call Sensia muted, i found it to be accurate colour wise both scanned and when i've projected it. It's Velvia without the super saturation so i guess if you are used to Velvia you might think it muted in comparison.

It's a super deal, if you've never shot slide film before give it a punt.

I've found it depends on the type of Sensia, the 200 I found fairly bright and saturated whilst the 400 was fairly drab (and very grainy). Not tried the 100 version.

I cross processed a roll of 400, and while I was shocked at the size of the grain (you'll struggle to make out facial details of people much more than 15 feet away taken with a 35mm lens) I liked the feel. I think it works well with strong colourful compositions. It's not worth buying process paid for cross processing tho!

If I get anything back in the next week or so worth sharing I'll pop it on this thread.

As regards 7DayShop, they also have Kodachrome slide film on offer - 5 pack for £14. Two different lots of Kodachrome.

Not Kodachrome - you can't that processed any more - but Kodak Elite chrome.

Yes, my mistake, desf. I normally use FujiChrome, but at the price of the offer from 7Day I thought it would be worth it.

Sorry - I didn't mean it to sound pedantic :)

I was sure it was a typo but just had to set the record straight. I'm a Fuji fan too. Kodachrome has a 'special' and nostalgic place in my heart though.
