just done the 4s and ipad2 (via the on device update option), no problems all very painless.

Did this on iphone4 last night and had to restart 3 times before the volume signal would go off the screen. But over all no real problems

i heard one of my friends managed to brick their iphone over the weekend doing the update. they did it via itunes rather than on device and the apple store geniuses blamed the anti-virus package on the laptop.
