Heads Up For You Fans of The X Files

Though save your kisses was 74 or something originally
Not sure where I got 1999 from, ( vindicated :D )

it was indeed written in 1974 and a winning Euro vision song entry 1976

I only knew because it was on the radio yesterday. Always though it was a Rollers song.

Also news to me ! Heard that on Radio 2 - Brian Matthew's "Sounds of the Sixties" best show on the radio !

One of those rare records where the copy is better than the original. No wonder Frankie Valli's version didn't get very far in the charts .The Bay City Rollers version was much better. Can still remember all the girls at school jumping around to it. Happy days !

Yeah me also..
Still, do you remember the saying, when they were in their hay day?
Anyone wanna by a BCR guitar? .....
No catch, its genuine ....
Really .... honestly, ... no strings attached ..

Joan Jett - I Love Rock 'n' Roll. (Originally Arrows)

New X Files over the original.

Am not getting into this at the moment and switched off after 20 minutes. I used to love the X Files and another show which has been given a brief reboot, Heroes, but cannot get into either at this time.

I agree, can't get into at all. I will watch the next one and if that's not gripping me then I won't bother.

Wash your mouth out!
I think they have done a fantastic job. If it was stil 1822 then the original one would be great. I have very fond memories. However times move on and when I see some of the original series it just looks and feels old.

This looks and feels fresh. A very good continuation. And Dana still is gorgeous so there :p :)

I think it's great too....and of course the old files look old...they ARE old.
I actually think they're made in very similar fashions; it's simply budget and FX that have moved on in 23 years.
And yes....Ms Anderson, whilst appearing a little, shall we say, 'taut' around the fizzog, appears to be holding up remarkably well :-)

So, ahem, that also must mean that I am old?

Ps. My daughter was so happy she didn't watch Monday evening. She hates anything to do with eyes. It was brilliant.

All I know is that Scully's my age!
I haven't watched Monday's yet. :(

Was just about to see whether this was worth catching up on, but found this scary photo instead
