Heads Up Bargain 32gb SanDisk Extreme SD cards £10

Ooh!.... nice.

Thats great, especially as my last card went corrupt on holiday/touring!!! Get one asap thanks!!!

Are the the 30 or 45 mb/s cards?
Sandisk Ultra are 30MB/s and the Extreme are 45MB/s.
I just picked up an Extreme card at my local Tesco store, over the counter at £20.
They also had the Ultra's at £15.
They may be a few pennies cheaper elsewhere, but I get club card points at Tesco.
I think the Extremes are obsolete stock that they are clearing, since the very latest versions are rated at 95MB/s.
Doesn't worry me since the 45MB/s versions work just fine in my cameras and are plenty fast enough.
The only time 95MB/s might make a difference is when you are downloading to the computer, but I don't mind waiting a few seconds if I'm saving a bundle of money.

There not obsolete, they have the Extreme 45mb/s (256GB is 80mb/s), Extreme Plus 80mb/s, Extreme Pro 95mb/s and the newer Extreme Pro at 280mb/s

TESCO are now showing as being out of stock.

Paul
The Watford Tesco Extra had plenty of both the Extreme and the Ultra cards in stock yesterday.
I guess the "out of stock" situation is for ordering.

I usually buy my cards from here, and although they are a few pennies cheaper than Tesco you don't get any Club Card points and have to wait a few days for delivery.

The current cards listed on the Sandisk website.
Their "Ultra" cards, which were 30 MB/s, are now called "Ultra Plus" and have "40 MB/s Read, Write speed lower" so it looks like Sandisk have done their usual incremental upgrade by moving everything up a step, so the new "Ultra Plus" are the old "Extreme" and the new "Extreme" are now what the older "Extreme Pro" (95 MB/s) used to be.
Sandisk have done this regularly in the past so that now the lower end cards are the same spec as the high-end cards of a few years ago.
Great for the consumer.

Yes there are, under Extreme (Enhanced). Ultra is still there at 30mb/s as well.

Yes, you're right, I've edited my post, but the Ultra Plus are now faster.
It looks to me like the 45 MB/s cards are being phased out in favour of 95 MB/s, which is the reason for the sale offers on the current cards.
There are very few 45 MB/s cards listed on the "My Memory" site, where I usually buy my cards.
