Yes
I wandered into a 40th anniversary of the Singer Owners club. There were lots of cars there and I took some potentially good shots of the cars. My wife then pointed out that as the cars were low and sporty, the people in the background were beheaded.

What's the consensus - publish beheaded people with nice cars or just publish the ones with whole or no people behind? I hate to throw photos away but some times I guess you just must.

Not much help to you now, but wouldn't it have been a good idea to have used a low viewpoint o avoid the problem (and make the cars look more heroic?)

Good thinking. I did manage some decent shots from a standing position, a question of patience. Some people just stood there in the line of shot even though it was clear I was trying to take a photograph of a car.
