HDR

Its free so I'll give it a go.

The only thing I ever do is Photomatix is select the natural setting then straight back into Lightroom. So if this can produce the same results I'll be happy.

Photomatix is about the best IMHO, although I'm getting good natural results in Photoshop now I have figured out the best settings, I also hearing good things about Oleano but have only tried it the once and didn't like the result (not a fair trial though as I didn't have time to play about with it)

Nik H.D.R. Efex Pro is giving Photomatix a run for its money.

We have had problems getting this to run properly (trial version) we tried in on 3 different computers but it just kept crashing, we gave up. First problem with Nik stuff to be fair.

I've been trying out HDR the full version and i really don't like it at all, compare photomatix default settings to nik hdr's and you'd think i'd destroyed my own image. It completely ruined any hdr's i do and it makes it worse using any of the sliders.

I'll stick with photomatix for now

I thought I would give it a try as it'sfree!
Results seem to vary according to quality of origonal, best seems to be the default setting, using the sliders didn't work well for me.
Think I will stick to Photomatix. At least I gave it a try..
