Ive recently been playing with a new HDR software application MACHINERY HDR Effects 2.0. Im not sure how long its been out I only found and installed it two weeks ago.
The installation process is a standard accept the EULA and next, next etc. During the couple of weeks Ive been using it on my Quad Core PC with 16GB Ram it has been very stable application I experienced no crashes or lockups whatsoever.
Machinery HDR Effects allows user to create HDR images with relative ease. I had no trouble creating a very passable HDR image within half an hour of beginning using Machinery HDR Effects easily and simply yet for the advanced user there are advance controls to fine tune the finished image. For those who do not like reading help files will be glad to know that The GUI is easy to find your way around.
I've previously used Photomatix HDR software which is ok but now I prefer Machinery HDR 2.0 as it is easier to produce good HDR images in Machinery HDR. One advantage Machinery HDR has over Photomatix is the price a full Machinery licence is only 29 which according to www.xe.com currency conversion site is £24.78, making Machinery HDR Effects quite a cost saving compared to Photomatix.
For those wondering if their old creaky laptop will run this software apparently it is supposed to be able to work on computers with a lowly Pentium CPU. It will also work on both 64 bit 32 bit Windows operating systems.
