Hi all
I recently had the chance to take some photos at the Natural History Museum. I wanted to play with HDR. http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=510705
As I said in the original thread, my personal preference for HDR is to only use it to extend the range of stops in an image, so to use an underexposed image to reveal detain in the highlights and an overexposed image for detail in the shadows.
I'm really happy with the images. My only question is about the first image, the top half is naturally lit and the alcoves by tungsten or sodium. This leads to a slight orange tinge in the bottom half of the image.
I processed these with Luminance HDR (http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net) with their new anti-ghosting. Does anyone know of a method to combine 2 sets of multiple exposure images with different colour temperatures?
