Hi guys

I was wondering what plugin does everyone use for HDR on Lightroom 3? I take it that these plugins are not free & you have to pay?

Any help is greatly appreciated

You can try out a free fully functional version of photomatix, which has a lightroom export plugin - it will watermark the images though.

If your buying photomatix you can get 15% of by using STUCKINCUSTOMS at the coupon code part of the checkout.

I've used LR/Enfuse with LR2. It produces fairly natural looking results IME.

this was a three exposure HDR IIRC

If you're looking for that heavily tone-mapped visual style, it may not be for you, though.

Haven't got round to using it with LR3 yet, but the FAQ says it works.

It's donationware - so you give what you think it's worth to you to get an unlock code.

Just out of interest which is related to the op but I have photomatix before I purchased LR3 and was wondering how do I integrate my photomatix with LR3?
When you purchase Photomatix Pro you also get a Lightroom Plug-In. There is an install file with it. Click it. Done. You then get the function from within Lightroom to select images you wish to send to PhotomatixPro, edit them in PMPro, then get them back to your Lightroom catalogue - seemlessly. No need to exit Lightroom.

I cant find the installation file for the LR part, do you know where it is located?

When I purchased Photomatix Pro, I seem to remember there was a separate install file for the Lightroom Plugin.

I'm on a Mac, so if you're on a PC then I am not so sure, sorry.

When you install Photomatix Pro there is a check box to click if you want to install the Lightroom plugin

Ah what I did in the end Is re Install photomatix and checked the LR box and its there now although in LR there is two options to export to photimatix, one you can click on and the other is greyed out. Anybody else have this? I am on windows version BTW.

Yes, photomatix is greyed out and photomatix pro is active.

Since the active one works I have not investigated further.

Do you mean greyed out like this...

The greyed out entries are the titles, catergories if you like of your export presets.
