What a fabulous day it was with lots of photographers about and great opportunities.

Struggling to load some of mine from Flickr but will keep trying.

Anyone there from the site today ? ( Sunday ) or over the weekend.

Still struggling to upload

Laptop down at the moment and not having any luck with my iPad

Looks a great day. I am a re-enactor myself and find it very frustrating not being able to use my camera during events!

Horrible, metalicy HDR effect to most of them, apart from that some nice shots. Love Dent.

Get a box brownie or its ilk and revel in the lo-fi.

Definitely not for C17th, and I would need something much more elaborate than that for 1860s! I don't mind watching modern stuff, but I just couldn't go more modern than 1860s, personally; it is too close to living memory for me to feel comfortable with it.

Yeah I see your point. Though I must admit I've always wanted to try TinTypes

Tintypes are the absolute bomb, aaand you gets to play with arsenic..

analogue photography + danger of death = engaging occupation...:)

It would be fascinating, but would be a big investment and would preclude any other sort of impression. I really do enjoy the drill, skirmish etc so would be loathe to give them up.
