Eek hate writing these things, but I am chantelle, 21, London!

I have always been in to arty farty stuff ( A Level art and GCSE under my belt) but only really determined that i liked photography last year. So with a small hand help digi camera i would snap away but i was very luckily spoilt by my partner, who got me a EOS 450D.

I have been having great fun with the camera so far but have very basic knowledge (I have been googling and bugging fellow fans of the camera). So I asked a good friend where i could get some decent advice and he pointed me towards you guys

oh pants.... i still havent looked at how much they was but along with lots of thank yous came a naguhty for spedning so much money!!!

Just got the kit lens for now but fancy getting a 50mm prime soon. Think I should get myslef a camera bag first though to keep my new toy safe. How about you, what do you have?

I just started an evening course at college doing photography, learnt a so much already! What kind of photography you into?
