It's a sensitive topic for men, ive just been to the quacks and he had to do the unthinkable, and i must say, it's the most degrading thing i have ever done, ever.

I need some sympathy for my ordeal :shake::shrug::'(

please no one ask why!

I can't releal this infomation. They don't have a diagnosis either. Great.

Hmmm as much as I sympathise please check this out before you feel too degraded :)

Once again I refer you to the bowel story :lol:

Not a camera but same route!:gag:

i cant read hat bowel story - i was at work and it hurt my ribs as it was written in such a comical way - i refuse but it has been kept for another day when i am brave enough!

Well....they did a blood test on me........good outcome really ,but said he could confirm it by the dreaded finger treatment............................
Even though serious I declined His kind offer................:shake:

Yep... been there! I'm one of the few lucky guys to have seen the inside of their own bladder on TV. Coronation Street is better... trust me!

hey the camera crew up there is not too bad (ok it is)

....

its the lighting and sound crew that made me sore - sorry too much detail ...... Cut

No matter how bad it is, it's still better than what the BBC have trotted out for Children in Need :naughty:

Pentax and Olympus are leaders in this, the "bottom end" of the market.

I was so, soooooo tempted to do a cartoon just for this thread, but had to sit on that for a while.
But being serious, I hope it doesn't reveal anything too worrying. Keep us informed. :)

Yes it a bit degrading and some men (and maybe women) would put off going to the doctors with problems "down there".

Personally my health is far more important to me than loosing a bit of dignity whilst the quack sticks a digit up my widget.

A friend of mine was apparently passing blood for a long time before consulting a doctor. The prognosis is currently 18 months for something that may have been treatable had it been found earlier.

If somethings not right, get yourself down to the quacks at the earliest opportunity, after all, they get paid enough, and more importantly it might just save your life.

While the urologist was inserting the Cycstoscope he 'amusingly' informed me: "I used to work for Dynorod you know!"

Very well said, bully74uk!

All joking aside, I have had the ....er... prostate exam too and was absolutely dreading it. I personally found that it wasn't nearly as awful as I was expecting it to be, a little uncomfortable is about the worst I could describe it. And no, I personally didn't feel it was degrading at all, it's just a simple medical proceedure after all so as long as you think of it like that then it's really a piece of cake. I wouldn't worry for a minute about going again now, it's really not as bad as you think.

So guys.... if you have any worries, don't put it off. As bully says, it could save your life.

yes i would be embarrassed to have it done but not when as much as when i was at the university air squadron at the RAF and had the cough test performed by a attactive female nurse/doctor. It was winter and the medical facilities were not know for there warmth!:$

well said Behappy - there total whimps, the medical stuff us women have to go through and there worried about a finger in the wrong place - seriously think yourselves lucky.

Did you hear the David Niven story about entering Naval College? They were told to crouch like they were going to start a race and the medical officer grabbed the testicles of the first recruit from behind and said "Cough". The recruit thought he'd said "Off!" and started running . . .
