Hi all,

Hopefully this is alright with the mods for me to post this, but we (West Yorkshire Cameras) are just having a tidy up after the xmas rush and getting de-cluttered, so we have a box full of lens cases and accessories and cable releases etc with loads of other odds and ends we are wanting to move on - all for free, anything left by the end of next week will be binned, so help yourselves if you're about! We're also generally having a sale so taking offers on most things.

Perhaps you could put items in an excel spreadsheet and post it. That way, everyone can see and then offer P&P, plus maybe a charity donation?
 
Will try post a list of what's left at on sat/sun to give people a chance to grab anything :)
 
I am obviously missing somehting so am happy if anyone wants to explain.... This looks to me like a thread offering free stuff... but not telling anyone whats on offer or how to get it ?

like I say.. probably me but ?

I think the first post is quite clear. Some items to clear, so when asked, has advised that they will post a list Saturday / Sunday.

nope still misisng it.. what was the point of the thread.. we are no wiser as to whats on offer or how to get it.. there may or may not be a list posted at some time.. surely thats when the thread should be started?

hey its not a major thing.. just made me wonder what the point of the thread was thats all.. if you think it makes sense then fair enough.. I am still struggling to be honest :)

Well, reading the original post, Nick says that his store, West Yorkshire Cameras, has some odds and ends that they're giving away for free in store, so folks are welcome to pop by if they're around to check it out. It seems that if anything is leftover by the weekend, then he'll post a list of what's still available.

haaaa.. i thought it was a camera club :) its a shop? I think it was the "we" made it sound like a group.. so .... oh hum .. bit more clear now... thats presuming everyone else realises its a shop and actually knows where it is :)

Yes sorry if it wasn't ultra clear, I just didn't want to come across that I was spamming the shop!
 
Have you got any rear lens caps or body caps for canon ef?
Willing to pay postage as your a bit far from me :-)
 
I think we've got tonnes of them if I remember right, so that shouldn't be a problem - I'll check next time I am in on Thursday and let you know :) message me if I forget!
 
i wouldn't mind a cable release (non electronic) if you have any? Would also forward on postage.

would love to see any list of any canon or generic suitable items. Would postage be possible (obviously I'd cover the postage charge)

Here comes an unlikely request.... I need a strap to fit a Bronica S2. Anything lurking in a junk box anywhere?

I am after a soft pouch for my mpe65 would like one that fits it with he tripod collar attached if poss please, if not then just something to protect the lens would be great. Thanks

A 52mm hood would be great if you had any - will keep my eyes peeled for your list.
 
Here we go!

  • Unbranded medium size camera bags x2, both gray - enough space for SLR and a couple of lenses. Nothing wrong with them, just a bit (to quote a customer) 'manky'
  • Black leather carry case to fit an SLR with lens attached. again, nothing wrong with it, just same as above.
  • Old copies of Amateur photographer magazine x10
  • Lots of Mechanical cable releases of various sizes
  • Those hard fake leather type lens cases in various sizes (off brands or unbranded)
    • Large (to fit long lenses) x6
    • Medium (to fit zooms, 70-210mm's etc) x3
    • Short (to fit small primes) x2
  • about 4 Cokin A filters, tobacco grads and the like - 80's cheese!
  • A few camera cases to fit kodak retinettes, voigtlander vito C, Canon EOS 600, and a few more (ask if you're looking for anything specific)
  • Slightly broken tripod, missing screw, legs quite wobbly
  • Standard Metal peli case, needs new foam, a bit grim looking, would probably clean up.

@brad131987 We've a surplus of Canon caps, I will send you some out for postage, PM me or email us.
@Steve Smith We don't have any spare I'm afraid :(
@crazylady I think we will have a pouch to fit that yeah!
@Proud2btaff We're really low on Nikon caps I'm afraid, we actually need to buy some in this week!
@freecom2 I think we've got one hiding, I will have a look in the 52mm drawer. Collapsable or Rigid?
 
You prepared to post, if postage paid, or is it just collection?

Medium lens case could be put to good use.
 
Cokin A Grads would be nice.
 
Just wanting postage cost for all the items in the list, you can add a quid or so to buy us a coffee if you so wish though!

would love a medium bag, just bought new lens and old bag is a little tight :)
