I just cannot get this in my head, how do you lock focus on your subject then recompose without camera refocusing.

switch to Manuel focus

In one shot focus mode, point at subject, half press shutter, recompose then full press shutter

Thanks thats what ive been doing, Is there any way it can be controlled in camera like exposure lock, Focus lock ?? or is manuel the only way.

Not too sure mate, i focus in on the subject then compose i see fit and shoot.

Have a look at back button focusing. It may help.

Thank you all sorted, settings in camera reassign what button to use to focus.
