... to get something you have already been told 'no' to?

I've been trying to find a campsite with electric hook up (for my scooter) on the cliff top in or very near Whitby town centre. The site we used to go to no longer allows tents :razz: so I had to look elsewhere.

The only other site also said no, but I thought hang on ... "I'm also a photographer, I could provide you with some shots of your site for you to use on your website, if you could find me a pitch . Here have a look at my site".

Their firm no, changed to a "Let me talk to the owners and get back to you", so fingers crossed they say yes.

So have you used your photographic ability to get something that you wouldn't usually get?

Yes, I do it when I can.

If I'm working on a project I use it as an angle to get to places that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

It sometimes works!

A project gives me the motivation to be a bit more cheeky.

Not my photography directly but telling folks about my food blog does get me some great discounts etc in return for a review on my blog.
