Have you changed Time in your Camera Yet ?

Took me a while last year, but have remembered to change the time in my camera :)
 
Not going to bother. Only have to change it back again. As long as the date is correct I am happy.

Yup, all four are synced together, can`t see the point, in my circumstances, to change them all.
 
I always keep the clocks in my cameras set to GMT, so at 2am, they all became the correct time as shown on the BBC etc.

Haven't yet done all the house clocks and will need to find a few manuals to find out how to do things like the microwave.

TBH, I find the whole clocks changing rigmarole a PITA and can't reallt see the point. Why not just alter working hours etc to suit the time of year?
 
Got a frosty reminder last night to change the central heating timer, put it back an hour but this morning it came on at the 'normal' time - bloomin thing had an auto winter/summer time change ... so another frosty comment this morning!
 
Never really thought about the camera having a time that needed changing - as I'm not at home will have a look at it!
 
I thought it was something to do with kids having to walk to school in the dark or something:shrug:


I've just looked at my camera and it is set right so i guess i've had the time wrong for the last 2 months.
 
haven't set the time or date on my camera....no need to change, simples :)
 
I'm usually happy with just the date, but now that you've reminded me, I think I'll go ahead and change it ;)
 
Oooh well remembered! I did the TZ8 last night as I was formatting a card in it and noticed, plum forgot the 7D. Thanks!
 
Well - thanks for the timely (ouch) reminder - just swapped the time in the 3 digital cameras - thankfully theres no clock in any of the film ones (never was one for databacks!), or i'd have been here the rest of the morning!

I do like the time to be correct on the digital cameras though, as I tend to use my Garmin GPS and Geosetter to GeoTag shots while I'm out and about.

We just change the clocks and our watches, don't bother with anything else. Actually, there isn't much else to change anyway!

I totally argree.
When this daft idea started more often than not there was one clock in a house, putting it back simply meant moving the hands around, and job done. Now it's a real time waster (pun intended) theres lighting timers, clocks in most rooms, central heating timers, computers, cameras, phones, microwaves, the list is endless of things that have to be ajusted.
Personally I can't see the advantage, you don't save any energy, now all my lights are on from about 4 pm once the children come home, accidents rise according to rospa figures, if your phoning abroad it's a pain in the arse having to "ajust" the times you ring.
IMHO this is an old outdated bloody stupid idea we should scrap :thumbsdown:

Mark,

Have been through the EOS Utility manual, I can see how you can manually set the time using EOS Utility, but I cannot see how to sync the camera with the computer automatically, I might have misunderstood what you meant.
