i am a beginner in photography and dont yet have an slr but about to make my purchase soooon!!!

anyway i thought id share a few i have taken with my wee casio exilim z30 so far,just to find out if iv got potential???

please be kind lol

Do you know what kind of dslr your going to go for?
I think everyone has potential to take great shots :) it's all about going out there, experimenting and having fun (imho)

Where do you store your pictures on the internet? Something like flickr.com?

You need to link the pictures to here - in the message box that you type in you put (img)http://www.flickr.com/xxxx/xxxx/jpg(/img) - replacing the ( and ) with [ and ] - [ img ] without spaces (it wouldn't show up in text if I typed it as normal).

Hey Adele

I don't have any experience of Canon camera's I'm afraid (apart from my works canon powershot!!) but a friend has a 400d and really likes it. It's a good camera from what he's said and has some good features :)

That being said I'm an Oly fan so have only got experience of them so far :)

You can upload to your Gallery on here or upload to your webspace or flickr (or something similar) and remote link the pictures.

do i need to have them in fliker or something?

they are stored in my documents/my pictures,cant i take them from here??
 
Adele, you can upload your pictures to your gallery space, here on TPF.

Each picture must be no more than 200kb, and 800px on the longest side.

If you host them at Flickr, or Photobucket, or suchlike, they can be more than 200kb, but still must be no bigger than 800px on the longest side.

Take a look here you will find info about galleries and uploading your pics.
