Have Flickr gone mad ?

Next week. I've got to take them, first!

Interestingly, I've learned something about my motivations this week... I was looking through my photos on Flickr and realised that I do actually like being able to put my shots somewhere that means people will see them. With Amazon I wouldn't get that, they'd just be stored for my own use.

I'm definitely not paying £75 for Flickr, so I've been thinking about glass.photo - one other option came up though, because I got a marketing email from them today: LightRocket. Anyone got any experience of them? The prices look pretty good, but it does seem like it might be aimed more at people looking to sell photos, rather than just put albums online:

So "I'm definitely not paying £75 for Flcikr" also turned out to be incorrect, as it auto-renewed last night; I clearly didn't read the original email properly, it must have said that it was going to do that... I'll have a look shortly, and then I might see if I can get a refund. If not though, I might run Flickr and glass.photo together for a while and see how I get on.

Yes, like many/most subscriptions it auto-renews - not sure what success you'll get with a refund, let us now. :)
