Hasselblad magazine problem

I recently purchased a Hasselblad 500C off of eBay. The camera came with two film magazines both with film loaded. I ran the film through to the end just to get used to the camera. The counter worked fine. I took the exposed film out and after reading how to load a roll by looking at several YouTube videos I loaded a roll. The counters are not indexing and the camera will not take a photo. I thought that the magazine was defective so tried with the other magazine. Same problem. I've loaded the film correctly but the magazines and the camera body are not in sync and I don't see what I have done wrong. Any suggestions?

Its not the camera, its the back, something is not lined up correctly, mine used to do something similar but since the last time I used it was about 20 years ago and I can't remember the cure...

Heads off to find said camera..

What back is it? If it's a C12 you have to wind the film advance backwards to set the frame counter. If it's an A12, wind it on from the start mark on the backing paper until it stops before fitting to the body.

you have to make sure the BODY is 'Cocked' before you fit the magazine ---wind on without the magazine THEN fit it and it should work.

The OP hasn't been seen since the 1st of September, I think any advice may be falling on deaf ears.
