I've been offered a 32 and 56 extension tube for my Hasselblad 180mm lens and wondered if anyone on here has used either of these. I want to get closer to nature so that's the need for the ET.
And advice would be much appreciated?

Can't comment on your specific question Neil, but I can't help but think this is not a great idea with a Hasselblad. Getting a bit closer, maybe for a tight head-shot or something, is one thing. Proper macro, if that's what you're thinking, is quite another. You would need long tubes to get seriously close with that lens, and I don't know how coupling with the in-lens shutter would work, or how image quality would hold up. Lots of practical problems. Macro is not Hasselblad's forte.

You have a Nikon... ;)

Hi Richard
I agree, I was wanting it for shooting flowers, tree bark etc etc not bugs and the like but you are right I have enough other cameras to play around with that kind of stuff.

I enjoy using 56E / 28E / 16E with my 203FE and would recommend acquiring. More benefit of course if you have shorter focal length. I usually use with 120CFE.
If you choose not to buy and they are 'E' series, I may be interested
