Hasselbald X-pan

Being 12cm long, I am able to make prints from the negatives on my 5x4" enlarger.

That's what I need next. They still seem expensive in this country whilst they are being given away in the US. I suppose I could build one!

I've got a XPANii, I think it's the only camera I'd never sell

I know exactly - my Xpan is my default now for light work, even goes on family holidays...much to the distain of 'er indoors'. The quality and clarity of the images is truely outstanding. Using the Xpan is also such joy too.

Lensflare: 'I won't be selling it'
.......maybe one day I might persude you to part with just the 90mm lens!?
BTW Simon, I've still got the Contax 645 and putting it to good use - another outstanding piece of kit.

Good to hear you are pleased with it Joe. (Contax 645) - the lenses are so sharp you have to be careful you don't cut your retina!

I don't know about selling the Pan....I will never use it again, but it is just ..oh, nostalgia I suppose!

Mmmmmm.......better give me a ring or PM. to discuss.

The X-pan looks very much like a Contax G2 except for the panoramic option of course. I may need to add this to my lust list.

They look aweful. The paint fell off all of them - alloy body and no primer used! The paint literally falls off, but creates a wonderful patina of use.
