I am just preparing a new Facebook album from photos I had taken during a trip. I had prepared an album from photos selected from the same trip, soon after the trip. But this time, three years after the trip, I am choosing ones I hadn't posted. And I am realizing that I had passed over many photos which were really good. So I think that our photographic artistic judgement of the moment might not be decisively reliable. Photos we might think at one moment in time to be essentially worthless, might in fact years later, with the benefit of perspective, be judged to be actually great.
