I still say that its hedonistic to like your own postsIt's basically to boost readership count as the "like" shows up on other people's side ticker.
the trend that's getting me is the "amazing!" comment, for very ordinary pictures, songs, clips etc
Thats true
You might be better keeping the old ones, they won't remember your old jokes![]()
As I said to Ruth, when she asked the same questionWhat's Facebook?
Is that the chicken and the egg comment? They took a leaf out of TP![]()
As I said to Ruth, when she asked the same question
its a magical mystical world,
where people keep you up to date with all the important things
that are happening.
eg what they are eating for breakfast,
and like all good news items there are usually pictures of said food,
or "selfies" of it going down their gobs.
If you are really in with the in crowd,
they may even share their lunch venue, with you.
Who they are with and follow that with an image of an empty plate
Of course they may even share an image of their sprog puking up its farleys rusk,
if you are truly blessed![]()
See, what you have been missing?I must join. My life will be so much the richer. I could then spend all my time in the pub/on the train/in front of the telly/having a cr@p with my little digital lifesaver three inches from my nose, keeping up to date.
Amazing!
See, what you have been missing?
its a whole new world out there![]()
I guess a lot of that depends on your view of this oneBut is it a better world?
Something I have frequently noticed is when someone has included their maiden name as part of their facebook identity and they write it like:
Joanne Bloggs was Smith.
I have not once seen the word née used in anyone's name.
Is this format something Facebook insists on or is it, at least anecdotally, that people are ignorant of the correct word?
I didn't realise that it is "on going"I've noticed it. Not necessarily more so recently, it seems to have been something some people have always done at times and it puzzles the hell out of me!
I didn't realise that it is "on going"
I've only just noticed it TBH.
No argument from me on that score!Whether it's a new craze or whether it's always happened, either way it's outright bizarre!
