While I try and find time to set up my own photo website, I use picasa for ym photos. Not the problem I have is that half my mates copy my rugby photos and stick them on their facebook, mobiles, pcs etc. Now while I don't mind this (sometimes), some of them are ones that give me a hard time about taking photos etc etc

This is starting to get to me a little bit and when I say something, it's like water off a duck's back.

How do I stop them being able to right click and save as?

Here's an example of one of the nicer (!) digs:

Any chance of the match photos making their way onto the site before the start of next year?

I am a patient person but seriously how long does one have to wait!

I thankyou x

And now I've put them on, he's the first one to have put them on facebook.......

Oh and do I get a thanks from them for taking their rugby pictures week in week out......

okay rant over

You can't stop a right click and save as. You can make it harder but you can't stop it.

Watermarking the picture might discourage them?

patient person my arse!!

Watermark them, a lower opacity type layer with bevel & emboss works a treat imo.
If you're not sure how to sort one out, PM me with your email address & I'll email you over my editable version

Cheers for your replies

I was thinking of watermarking but when there's over 100 of them, I lose my concentration span very quickly. I shouldn't really cos it would save me getting annoyed

How do I get them on quickly and painlessly?

Certain photo gallery upload places can watermark as part of the album (like Jalbum) which doesn't look too bad.
Failing that, just set up a template & drag & drop your images into place, only takes a second if you've got the template set up ok

Okay, :help: having dumb moment. I have PSP Xi

If you are using picasa I'd guess you are not using PS.

There are plenty of shareware watermarking programs out there but not many freeware ones.

I use a simple resizing program to batch resize 100's of pictures for a screensaver. I know it has a watermark option but i've never tried it. Might be worth a look as it is free...

as has already been said, watermark them.

Then charge £2 or so fo r a small low res copy to go on face book. you can sell alot of these and make lots of little amounts fo rlittle effort

Thanks Robert, will have a look at that. There's a couple of shareware ones out there that are about $30, not really that much money. Might invest

Mark - don't really want to go down the route of charging, it would be nice though.

Thanks for your help all of you
