I have been planning on doing this essay for atleast 20 minutes, and yet again TP is stopping me :lol:


Oh and Facebook is as well.


Just wanting to know if anyone has a terrible attention span, or am I the only one?

yep, my attention span is dismal. I remember important things but for example having a conversation, I drift off - and I can't sit and watch something on TV and remember it all. Asked DH a few times why he turned the TV over and he was like "I didn't, the program ended!" and when I go to the quacks I usually take a note with things I need to talk about. If I'm, really bad, I write everything down almost like a letter - can come in useful sometimes LOL

I find my mouse drifts over the bookmark tab in my browser for TP far to easily.

More so when i have coursework to do :thinking:
 
If you've got something important to do, switch the internet off (unless you really need it for research purposes). Unplug the dongle or switch off wi-fi if necessary. Maybe even switch the computer off and write a synopsis of the essay with paper and ink/pencil then type it up when you've got a clear idea as to what you're going to write. Sign out of chatrooms, Faecesbook etc so you have to enter your user name and password rather than just clicking on a link in favourites/bookmarks.
 
Wow! I managed to do that essay finally. Last time I replied I just thought... "Stuff it! Might as well get it done sooner rather than later :D"

There was no question IIRC there were bullet points to it, and that was about it.

I've been sitting here attempting to catch up with some uni work for 2 hours. I've managed to put in about 30 minutes of concentration so far and for an hour and a half my mind has been flitting here there and everywhere.
 
The only time I can focus constantly is at work. After work, my attention span is really short.
 
Wow didnt think this would get this much attention.... Ha geddit :p
