Harry P last book (Warning : May contain spoilers)

I want more books like this, anybody know of any?????

I dont think anyone really compares to the author on the account of Harry Potter. If youve read all the Harry Potter books, Im afraid the latest book is her last. Theres (apparently) going to be an 8th book, but it wont be in novel form, it will be a sort of encyclopedia (proceeds going to charity). The nearest Ive found in the same theme as HP, are the Lord of the Rings books. I liked the HP series better than LOTR though, because it at least had a sense of reality (well a fair sight more than LOTR). On the bright side, we've still got 2 more films to go!

(Dont know why my previous post was replaced with this one..? Edit: Wierd..its done it again, sorta. lol)

2 thirds of the way through, and its so much better than book 6 as it flows a lot better.

Am I the only one who didn't like it? :(

I love the other books, but not this one. I don't know why, really.

The epilogue kind've p*ssed me off a bit, a bit too cheesy I think.

Far too much snogging and lumps in throats!

Have never read any of the HP books, only seen the first HP film. Every house I visited with a new baby this week seems to have the latest book sat on their coffee table

As someone already stated, it's fantastic that it keeps people still interested books :) Not really my cup of tea though.

the films are complete rubbish  Read the books!

I've finished it :D And Joseph I know what you mean about the epilogue. Trying to explain everything in dialog...stoopid :cuckoo:

The ending has been left open on purpose for people to write fan-books. Ensuring that the books never die, which I think is a good thing.

I cried like a baby...... I'm a bit emotional but that one chapter (you guys know which one) just had be balling. I thought it was a great book but the epilogue was a bit tooo I don't know unsurprising.
Do most people really go on to marry their first love?
