Hello all!
Have been a long time guest here so thought to join and get a bit more involved in discussions and learn a bit more! Been playing with both 35mm film (not slr) and point and shoot camera for many years on and off for fun and hobby and invested in a Nikon D90 last year to be a bit more creative and get away from limitations of p&s.
So far, mainly taking pics of wildlife found in garden, wwt, rspb and zoos, landscape and the moon with 300mm (no scopes) so far and recently bought some filters to experiment with.
Hope to pick up some tips and share some pics as I go on!

Indeed enjoying the hobby, starting to think first, shoot later rather than vice versa. Oh the dangers of digital, memory cards and the delete button! Only decided to only shoot RAW two weeks ago rather than RAW+JPEG and enjoying the post processing. I'm sure the novelty will wear out someday!
I think the filters were probably a bit of an impulse buy given the recent weather, so here's hoping for a good long summer!
