I'm looking to get a plastic peli style case to store my gear in rather than have it dotted around in various bags etc. It would be mainly kept at home and I intend to use a foam insert.

So I currently only need to store:

Sony A7iii body
Sony 200-600mm
Sony 85 f/1.8
Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
Samyang 14mm f/2.8
Canon 200mm f/2.8L (with MC-11 attached)

Obviously the 200-600 is going to limit the size range I choose and I would prefer some extra space for future purchases. I wonder if anyone could recommend anything, or even an affordable brand/seller. I realise branded Peli cases would possibly be of better quality but this will be use for mainly home storage and bashed about in and out of vehicles and on location etc.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I used that well-known auction site and found a chap selling ex-Lufthansa flight cases, previously used to transport delicate instruments in. A bit used looking but perfectly functional. They come with a good amount of foam insulation, with a large cavity which I filled with that pluck-and-tear foam. This is the seller 1mullion1

I use a hard Vanguard case but not with foam inserts, Vanguard make a range of standalone Divider Bags with moveable inserts, so they can be customised to suit. I have several of these 'soft' cases (Divider Bag) and then if I want one outside the house, I'll insert it into the hardcase. I got the hardcase so it fits cabin luggage size, and have used it without issue on flights. I prefer this style of soft case than foam, as it adapts more easily to gear changes!

If you do want it for cabin luggage, just watch the weight, my hard case weighs 4kg alone, which only leaves 6kg of gear to meet 10kg cabin baggage target.

I've been looking at this one on my search https://www.amazon.co.uk/WATER-RESI...322b4&pd_rd_wg=bDUBF&pd_rd_i=B01E9RBM7E&psc=1

I've had a few from here, range from simple to full weatherproof
