Yes
I'm using external hard drives for storing my images, for safety I'm using pairs and manually dragging and dropping files over, but I'm finding as I'm working on one drive more than the other it's a right pain in the rear trying to make sure both drives are mirror images of each other.
can anybody suggest software that will keep both drives in sync, I need it to work both ways as I may be working on either drive.
I'm on win xp and the drives are normal plug in usb jobs not raid.
Thanks Wayne

Great little free tool. I use it frequently.

My mate just made me a script, so I click on the icon on my desktop and it automatically backs everything up to the back up hard drive. No idea how he did it though!

Many thanks for the replies, I'll give synctoy a go.
Thanks Wayne

Another vote for Synctoy!

:plusone:

Been using SyncToy for a few years now.

I like because it's a manual start, means you mess with one drive and when your happy you trigger synctoy.

Scheduled copiers sometimes have a habit of overwriting origionals just at the wrong time :D

This will come in handy for work where I have two drives I'm manually cloning...

Gonna download SyncToy first thing tomorrow.

I use Synctoy and also like the fact you run it manually. Lost count of the number of times I heard our IT guy where I sued to work cursing scheduled backups that always seem to happen at the wrong time!

I use Yadis, found it very easy to use and, very reliable. linky

And it's free. :)
