"This is not the thread you are looking for"

Star Wars day is known as Mrs Nod's birthday here but she did get the reference when I wished her happy SW day this morning!

This is not the thread I was looking for.

I'm confused?!

OOps I nearly forgot that :(

Still its good to see a thread that is not taking the Sith for a change

And now for the oldest joke on the planet.

Q. Why is Duck tape like the force?

A. Because it has a light side and a dark side,
and binds the Universe together
:coat:

On a side note - did I read the other day that the original characters and cast are in the new film/s ?

I enjoyed the original films as a kid and (whilst the prequals came out at the right time for my eldeast child) I enjoyed them because of the links to the story I grew with.

My youngest 3 kids are 5,3 and 1 so I'll get to do it all again so I'll be chuffed if the old characters and cast are back.

Nothing escapes me ;)
I see everything.
I have a left eye
I have a right eye
And I have a

Oh forget the norty corner....just get out.....go on.....no...dont use the snakey eyes....OUT!!

I was quite excited about today... with a 3 year old son who likes sci fi and superheroes, I'd spent the last week building up Star Wars day for him.

He woke up this morning and proudly proclaimed:

"I want to watch Superman today daddy."

"But it's Star Wars day!"

"I know but I prefer Superman. See, I'm wearing Superman pyjamas. I don't have any Star Wars pyjamas."

Can't argue with that logic, so that was the end of my Princess Leia / Queen Armidala watching plans.

Dont drink to much, youll end up feeling like banther fodder at the Endor the night!
 :p

As long as I don't Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-woooooooooook I'll be OK,
that is unless it really is Darth of me :(

You should have sent him out to play and watched them in peace :D

Believe me, I'm all for character building... but it was chucking it down and I suspect Mrs Pjm1 would not have been happy if I'd sent him out to jump in muddy puddles while I get my Natalie Portman fix!

Don't worry, they're all recorded for my next day when I have "man flu"... ;)

Seriously. ...I'm taking names
