We would like to wish all the British Troops a very Happy Christmas whether they are in Iraq,Afghanistan or elsewhere and a very Happy New year and also a safe journey home.They are doing a great job and sometimes are forgotten.

Likewise, I'm one of the lucky ones who's not been deployed over Christmas, but my thoughts, and the thoughts of my family, are all with those brave guys and girls still overseas, doing impossible things under the worst possible circumstances.

For those who don't know, you can also buy help for heroes wristbands for £2 from the help for heroes website, and show your support :)

It's like all wars, some b****r starts it and the lads and lasses have to go in and risk life and limb.
Don't get me wrong,there are times (like Hitler) that it was needed, but this was a wrong move on Blair's part.............:shake:

No matter what anyones views on war are, these guys and gals deserve our support and best wishes for the season.

We have both our sons deployed and get irritated very easily about this subject.... but at least they are out of warzones for Christmas one is here eating us out of house n home and one is on a well deserved break in lapland but on the 2nd jan both fly out again
 
Lets pray for a safer world this coming year so all our troops can come home. Sending my thanks to all our boys and girls serving our country.

I feel very fortunate that my son is home with us this christmas after just finishing his latest tour of duty.

Keep safe all of you and merry christmas.
