I'm getting quite a few enquiries about doing 18th, 50th, 65th parties and wondered if any of you good folk might have some ideas on pricing such an event.

So far to give me confidence they have been done on petrol money and then prints at my standard print rates, but haven't got a clue the sort of cost to ask for attending or the sort of package to put together.

I know costing is difficult - but wondered if there might be any guidance out there.

So far they have been great fun but I need to start making a wee bit of money from them.

How long do you spend on such events inlcuding preparation, time at the event as well as getting there and back along with PP time. You should look at making a minimum of £15hr before you start selling pics.

I would imagine that £250-£400 for an evening do with all pics on 7x5 (photobox) and a CD with non-commercial licence to print / pass on would be reasonable.
