Hanimex to Canon EOS adapter?

I've been given an old Hanimex (for Minolta) 75-200 mm macro zoom lens. Will an adapter allow me to use this with my Canon EOS 500d? If not then it's not the end of the world because the lens was free

You might be able to get an adapter with a glass element to correct infinity, but the chances are that performance will be compromised. However, if the lens uses a t-mount system, you may be able to swap the mount for a canon eos one by simply unscrewing it. Post some pics and I'll let you know

Here are some pictures of the lens. It does look like the fitting unscrews but is this the t system?

No, I'm afraid that's a newer lens and it won't work. Sorry.
