I had a thread few weeks ago about a very large panoramic print, I went ahead and ordered a large poster print and it should finally arrive tomorrow.

But I don't really have any idea how to hang it on the wall other than using double sided tape :D
The problem with the double sided tape is, I live in a rental flat, and last time I used double sided tape, the paint come off together with the tape :bang:

I will most likely end up using double sided tape again unless someone has better suggestion?

Photo is 220cm x 40cm btw...

6inch nail

fomex board and spray mount, arladite two hooks onto the rear, sorted.

I thought about framing but, I thought it might be bit expensive at that size, and difficult to transport later on...

What about having a piece of thin MDF cut to size and stick it to it. Then just put a couple of 'D' hooks on the back and hang it on the wall. Even thick card from an art shop would suffice I would imagine.

never thought about sticking to a board and then hanging the board...I think that looks like the best option... It will all depend on my skills of placing the nails straight though

Don't be facetious, you need 2 nails to keep it straight.

4 to keep the corners down:D

Seriously though, fomex board as mentioned is easy to use and will last, double sided tape will ruin the pic eventually.

use Velcro on the back of the board, it's easier then get it straight.

not a bad idea... but wouldn't velcro leave a mark on the wall as well if you were to remove it?

velcro is the devils hook&loop

you want silicon sealant. couple of beads on the back of the foamex, line up on wall, push on. hold for 5 mins.

when you want to to remove it wont take the wallpaper and plaste with it.
