Haida 10 stop

Yeah, that's the one, it'll be cheaper as it's a smaller size. The kit lens is actually a 52mm thread so either go for that or you'l need a step down ring.

thats the one mate, because you getting smaller size filter so thats why the price is cheaper. The 67mm one cost around £30 and 77mm cost £49

The one you saw in that thread is this one

the one you show is the slim mount filter, I think there is some kind of issue or trade off with that one.

Googling it at the moment.

Looks like is the other way around, the normal mount can produce vignetting at wide angle apertures, while the slim doesn't, and I think you cannot put the lens cap with the slim, probably more delicate too. Hope it helps.

With these 10 stop filters, do they have another thread out past the filter glass so you can screw on another filter/cokin 77mm mounting system?

Most do. But using them with a filter system is a bit of a palaver, usually accompanied by vignetting problems.

Thanks, it's a bit hard to see on crappy stock photos online.

Been reading the link below and other links in that article and it seems some creative modifying of the filter holder may be required to eliminate vignetting if stacking filters such as the Haida, polarising and/or ND grad.

I'll make up a thread of my stacking expiences in the coming months when I get all the bits delivered and try it out.
