Is anyone using the latest Hahnel Captur Timer Kit at all?

I've been a long time user of Hahnel's Giga T Pro II for some time and really like it. The only problem I have with it is worrying about changing the odd little batteries out in the field. One of them needs four, small Phillips screws removing before you can get at the battery.

Bump.

I have recently got myself the Capture Module pro although not yet had the chance to test it out Hoping to try and do some high speed stuff popping balloons and so forth and maybe set it up as a trigger if I get some birds nesting in our bird box again this year. Just got every thing paired up and made sure it would fire from camera.Hope to give it a good test in the next couple of weekends! First impressions it seems a good bit of kit.

Like you I have got the Giga TPro II and really like it, use it mainly when doing time lapse, currently on my second one as I lost the first out of my camera bag when I hadn't closed the zip properly! :banghead: not had any concerns about changing the one with the small button battery as seemed fine every time I used it, although have had a spare set in camera bag think CR2032 last ages . Had to change the other one the CR2 quite a few times

Thanks for the reply Alan. Pleased to hear someone has bought in to the Hahnel Captur system.

I originally bought and used the Giga T Pro when I couldn't get my camera low enough to water level when photographing diving Kingfishers. It was a treat to sit in a hide some feet above the water and still be able to trigger the camera from there. The hand help transmitter on the Captur system looks a fair bit larger than the one that comes with the Giga T Pro. Hopefully it should be easier to use and work with.
